We are a training centre working with an excellent group of schools across Bishop's Stortford and surrounding areas.
Belinda Kistell has been teaching for over 30 years and involved with ITT for 20 of those years. Having led the BSET SCITT for 8 years, she is now the Director for BSITT. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge in teaching and learning and is the Safeguarding and Mental Health Lead for our training Centre.
Rebecca is a highly qualified teacher with over 20 years experience including roles as Deputy Headteacher, EYFS Educational Improvement Advisor and Safeguarding leader.

You are supported by an excellent team of practitioners who are highly qualified and experienced, bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to every session. Mentors are there to support you with weekly meetings and and guide you through the process.

As a teaching school alliance we take continuous professional development very seriously and ensure a seamless transition to the probationary years. BSITT supports ECTs as well as offering a wide range of career development courses that can lead to school leadership.
